About:
Harmony Pillon is an artist, educator, herbalist and astrologer, with a passion for medicine making, herb growing, ethical wild-crafting and land stewardship. Harmony currently makes her home on Vancouver Island, BC, on the ancestral territories of the K’ómoks Nation, home to where the coastal rainforests meet the ocean tides.
Harmony’s formal educational background lies in fine art, education, and environmental studies which provided a tangible beginning for her exploration and study of sustainable living and farming practices, traditional craft, and herbal medicine through various apprenticeships and programs.
Since moving to Vancouver Island in 2015, she has been part of the Ravensong Herbal Apprenticeship program, and continues to evolve her role as assistant instructor. Harmony has been working with plants full-time for the past 7 years, crafting an integral practice and relationship with herbal medicine through actively growing, harvesting, and making medicine in tune with the seasonal cycle as Assistant Manager of Ravensong Seeds & Herbals .
Vision
Craftin’ Wild Harmony is a multifaceted offering that combines art, education, ancestral craft and astrological practices with heart-centred intuitive plant medicine. The essential drive for creating Craftin’ Wild Harmony is to encourage and craft connection by sharing experiential plant knowledge and intuitive offerings while also being present to the flow of creativity. All offerings have fundamentally been nurtured into being though a deep spiritual practice of listening and communing directly with the earth and its beings.
All products sold in Craftin’ Wild Harmony’s Apothecary are handmade mindfully with fresh, sustainably farm- grown, or ethically wildcrafted herbs in small batches on Vancouver Island, BC. Other offerings include intuitive astrology readings, holistic herbal consultations, hand-printed channelled botanical art, as well as custom art commissions. Additionally, Harmony also teaches fundamental herbal classes such as Herbal First Aid, Children’s Herbal Beginnings, Plant Spirit Drawing and as well as Botanical Illustration.
